Habits of Mind

Bella used persistence, striving for accuracy and taking responsible risks all throughout her life.
Persisting: Bella persisted all throughout her life. If she didn’t persist so much she wouldn’t be as important and well known as she is today. Bella persisted through lots of hard work to go to university. When Bella tried to get her MA application at university, she persisted to do her very best work. When Bella left her job to marry Henry, a poet and a civil servant she had to remain positive and ensure that she left her legacy. She persisted leaving her family when they were old enough to go back to work.
Striving for accuracy: Bella strived for accuracy when she tried to enter M.A upon application, trying to get in University and when she tried so hard to have her BA. If she didn’t do her best she would of been as important as she is now. She also did her best when she was a teacher and a mum trying to push her students and her own children to have a good education.
Taking responsible risks: When Bella was the lady principal of Ballarat School of Mines University class, she had to take very responsible risks because of her role to make important decisions on behalf of the whole school . When she took the risk of leaving her job, she was prepared by her role of principal before leaving. Bella used her past knowledge and experience to take responsible risks.
